Membership

Membership in the SMD is open to:

• All Dominican physicians, physicians born to Dominican physicians, and physicians graduated from Dominican Universities.

• Legal residents of the United States, and of good social and professional reputation.

Membership Classification:

- All members must comply with the society's requirements as per the admission committtee

Active Members:

• All physicians licensed to practice medicine in the USA.

• Be up to date on their annual dues.

• Attend at least two activities of the society per year.

Associated Members:

• All physicians not licensed to practice medicine in the USA.

• Be up to date on their annual dues.

• Attend at least two activities of the society per year.

• Have voice but not a vote on the discussions.
